Hey yall.. Just wanted to say hi & give a quick update...
Ummm let's see... since I last blogged, I found out that one of the girls I always see out & about is actually my cousin!!! We used to play & everything when we were younger.. Crazy right?? lol
I also found out that I may have a younger sister who is 13... smh... I can't help but wonder what God is preparing me for by revealing these things to me after almost 25 years.
Praying for a spirit of continued discernment...
I know this post is totally random but so what!! lol

A Quick Rant...
I'm SO tired of living my life to please other people... Tired of the overly critical nature of my family. They constantly remind me of all that I have failed to accomplish. They do it "jokingly" but it's ALL. THE. TIME!!! They never dwell on my accomplishments (though very few).. as a matter of fact, the positive things that I've done are never even acknowledged. No one wants to always have their past actions/situations thrown in their face... especially when they are less than becoming..
I know I have to get away from it all soon though. Everyday I regret coming here & I regret not doing what I wanted to do instead of what others wanted me to do. I regret living for them & not myself. & I definitely regret giving into the guilt trips that are constantly thrown my way when my own opinion varies from theirs.
I'm tired of living my life in regret of what could have been. But I digress.. All I can do at this point is take steps to rectify the problem. Let's hope I know what I'm doing.

Quick Update..
Happy Monday!!
Just wanted to update yall & let yall know I chopped all my hair off & relaxed it!!! I'll post before & after pics as soon as I can get my laptop to load Windows (-.-)
Also I'm thinking about doing a theme for each day of the week... I need ideas please & thanks lol

Good Hair
I definitely dont intend to make this "multiple posts per day" thing a habit, but I have a lot on my mind & if I'm closer to a computer than to my notebook well......
Anywho, I was sitting at work aimlessly playing in my hair & I happened to stretch one of my curls all the way out to look at it. My coworker says "Wow Tierra, I didnt know your hair was actually long".. My response was "(-.-)".. I know she wasnt trying to be rude, but it kind of offended me... *cuss* this shrinkage!!
I've been completely natural since Feb 21, 2011 (the day I BC'd). & I've been seriously contemplating either another BC or a relaxer. After doing my share of research, I just think that I would be able to take better care of my hair this time around & really maximize the strength of my hair in it's relaxed or natural state. I LOVE LOVE LOVE being natural & the journey that the process has taken me on, but my hair was never really even and as it gets longer, that's becoming more evident lol.... Not to mention the fact that for me, relaxed hair is easier & cheaper to maintain...
IDK though. I guess I'll see what happens... Opinions are appreciated!!!
